Ashton has been awarded a Visiting Professor Fellowship at the Quantum Information Centre Sorbonne (QICS) for 2026. The fellowship supports travel and accommodation costs for visits of up to three months to a Sorbonne University Alliance laboratory.

Ashton will visit Quentin Glorieux’s research group to develop theory of superfluid excitations in quantum fluids of light.
