Two Physical Review Letters in one month

This month we had two papers appear in Physical Review Letters!

• Yu et al, Emergent Non-Eulerian Hydrodynamics of Quantum Vortices in Two Dimensions where we generalise the anomalous hydrodynamics theory of Wiegman and Abanov to neutral systems of vortices. The intermediate scale vortex fluid hydrodynamic exhibits anomalous stresses due to the non-analyticity of quantum vortex cores.

• Reeves et al, Enstrophy Cascade in Decaying Two-Dimensional Quantum Turbulence where we carry out large-scale point-vortex simulations and observe a direct enstrophy cascade in decaying two-dimensional quantum turbulence.
